Filecure 
I may have inadvertently formatted my external drive and now I cannot access the files nor save to it. I have purchased File Recover for Windows and downloaded it, then scanned all the files and attempted to recover them, but have been unsuccessful. I also purchased FileCure but still am unable to recover. I have managed to pull binary and hexadecimal files out and save on my computer ‘C’ Drive but don’t know how to convert them to documents. I also have 7-zip but don’t know how to use it or what it’s supposed to do.

The best file recovery program I have found is GetDataBack. This is an excellent program but it is not free. The NTFS version is $79 and the FAT32 version is $69. They both will give you free lifetime updates.
